The Gift of Fashion Sight

Why I style...
Would you allow me to STYLE YOUR LIFE? Give me a budget and turn me loose. I could be your very own personal stylist. My methods are to get to know you. What makes you happy? What are the important things in your life?  Where are your favorite places to go? I find out what colors bring you out and make you glow. I will take your measurements (I can make you custom pieces as well *toots horn*) and find your style.

Impekebel is an alternative way to spell the word impeccable which means flawless. That is the way I intend for your wardrobe to make you look. I find the best fitting, most appealling, and perfect clothing for your inner beauty to shine through. It sounds easy, but it is no small task. As a stylist, you have to figure out what your client is most comfortable with and most self-conscious about when dressing. I love people. I love to encourage. I love to help  and  I love to make people feel better about life whenever I can. The job of stylist is one that I take honor and pride in, because of the way faces lights up after seeing the transformation that they couldn't ever have fathomed.
Styling is about listening. It is about effort. As a personal stylist you will see the fruit of your commitment right away. I'm all about the smiles, just keeeeeep them coming. Below are some of the many styles that I have created. With no particular person in mind, these styles could very well suit any of you. Let me know if you would like for me to create some looks just for you. It would be my pleasure dollface.

This could be you, so contact me impekebelstyles@gmail.com for inquiries. Let's have some fun and get you glow'n

Metallics, Queen, Metallics!

Fear the bold? Why should you? Metallics are your friend. It may be that somethings just don't suit everyone, but those who can, should. I am never one to shy away from standing out. My style goes ahead of me into a place and I usually don't worry about what I'm "saying". Metallics can overwhelm you if you aren't used to spicing things up. If you are willing to try the look, you may be surprised at just how much they make your whole outfit and day shine. Subtly is key. Metallic shoes and earrings paired with a solid colored navy jumpsuit is an example of one look. Bronze metallics just so happen to be my favorite.

Below are some looks that I have created to give you an idea of what I mean when I say "Bold". These looks are definitely eye-poppers. Try out similar looks and WERK!

Most often we are worried about the whispers and the stares that come along with being too fierce. Honey, welcome the admiration of being you. You are not here to blend in. Look great as often as you can and don't be timid about your style. Put the pedal to the metallic. Try it once and if you love it drop me a picture of just how great you looked. Email me at impekebelstyles@gmail.com and you could be featured in the follow-up blog. I hope your day glows.

Everything is Black and White

Fashion is ever-changing, but classics remain what they are. It's tough keeping up with the latest trends (if you care about that sort of thing). I only care to style myself according to my own standards. I believe in classics. I believe in signatures. I believe in staples. The little black dress. All white attire. There are parties held in honor of these looks, so you can understand their staying power.

Black clothing conveys elegance. All white styles reflect sharpness and honesty. They say that clothing can reflect your mood and truthfully I always feel elegant, and honest, and sharp. Classicism personified. Solidarity. A here to stay attitude. There's no need to fear such signals. Anytime you feel strong and beautiful, all black that day. If you keep it honest within, put on your white turtleneck and white denim jeans and strut.

If you aren't one for monochromatic looks, below are some black and white styles that may suit you. There is a hint of color to accentuate your eminence.

Let me know what you would have done differently with these styles in order to make them your own. Love ya.....mean it💋

NECK-LACED!!

Neck Pieces, they're SO NECESSARY!

Hey you. Let's talk all about neck pieces. Oh yeah, the bling! How should we style them? You know the motto....say it with me.........(in unison) however we want, duh. I won't tell you how, but I will tell you where. If you have an instagram account (seriously, who doesn't) you must follow @exoticdynasty93. The company carries the most extravagant, most breath-taking, most exquisite "neck statements" I've ever laid eyes on. The pieces range in color and creativity. There is definitely something for everyone. With winter approaching, we will begin packing on the layers. Exotic Dynasty has what we all need to stand out from the crowd unlike anyone has. These majestic necklaces can be purchased online at http://exoticdynasty.bigcartel.com

Send pics of how you rocked your Exotic Dynasty pieces to their instagram page. Nobody does it better....No one does it like you.

I have matched some of the pieces with some fall/winter looks. Take a look below and tell me how you would have had yours in the comments.

Crops during the Winter. Shall or Shant?

Any girl, at anytime, anywhere can crop.Cropped tops are about freedom. They say about the wearer that "I can do as I please". I, for one, could crop it everyday, but being a mother of two there are just some things that I prefer to keep hidden. Sparing all eyes, ya know? This is why the Fall/Winter seasons are my favorite times of the year for styling. Picture a winter white cropped top, a black meshed bodysuit, a black leather jacket and winter white wide leg pants. Can't picture it? Look down below...

Does this look tickle your fancy?! Yeah, mine too! Layer that crop and
For most, the gist of crops is to show off a little skin, but when fashion has its own life for you, they mean so much more. Layers love. Layer your crops, crop your sweaters, or even (if you sew) add sleeves to an existing crop and it is set to be the "hottest" fall look guaranteed. A lot of things in fashion are considered taboo, but since we never follow rules anyways the fashion law doesn't really apply to us now does it. EXACTLY! You are now free to join the crop wave. FASHION REBELS UNITE!

Do You Babe

In keeping with the spirit of "you", I wanted to show you....yeah, you....just how easy it is to pull your very own style from within. Pick a pair of shoes. A "you" pair of heels, or sneakers, or ankle booties or whatsoever you choose, that represents what you would like to convey to"your" onlookers. (Choose wisely and you can own the room) How do you know that they are fitting? Well, if you and I walked into the very same store at the exact same time it is almost certain that our eyes would wonder in separate directions. Differences! Two totally different pairs of shoes would be going home with us. That is personal style. That's because no matter what, who we are is who we are. No second guessing.

Once that pair of amazing shoes is chosen, then on to find a great belt or an accessory that compliments them. Hats can add a hint of mystery to your look and I can dig that. Next step, decide if you want to wear pants, shorts, dress, or skirt. Depending on your plans, be sure to take comfort into consideration. You can't go wrong with a jumpsuit either, btw. Tie everything together with your smile and your look is complete.

These steps can be completely reversed, especially if you find the perfect dress or crop must buy. I approve such behavior without shame ;)

Below are some of the many looks that I created choose your fave and let me know which is "You".

Gray simply can not fail you this Autumn season. It just can't! Write that down.

Hawt On A Budget

Shopping fever? Limited on cash? Whether you need a formal gown for an impromptu social event or a white v-neck tee and destroyed jeans for a casual girl's night, there are affordable options. We all want to resemble celebrities without the huge price tag. (Dress to impress, but not go broke)

The first option is to visit your local discount store. Stores such as Marshall's, T J Maxx, Ross Dress for Less and Burlington's Coat Factory all have lots of goodies on sale or simply at rock bottom prices. I am the first to walk to any one of them and build a total look centered on one piece. (See below)

This $21 dollar pair of shoes from Forever 21 were the focal point of this style creation. Very simply recreated and for a very low price. Win/Win

Thrifting?!!!
Another approach to low end style genius is thrifting. (Don't Sleep) Thrift stores have some of the best brand clothing that aren't particularly sold anymore, but are easily styled. If you are a vintage look lover, thrifting shops are the place for you. Thrifting can also work in your favor if uniqueness means anything to you. Let's face it a girl hates to be copied. Here is a fall look that I reconstructed from a thrifted velvet piece. What do you guys think, eh?

What are you waiting for? Goooooooooo...shop

Define Style

What do you think of when you hear the word.....style? Is it only clothing and great shoes? Or is it accessorizing to the tee? To me, style is me. What do I mean? Style is whatever I want it to be. It is expression by my very own terms.

Give me a room filled with clothing, shoes, accessories and I will still only choose what best fits me. (Although, most often it is the most expensive of things, tuhh) It is not purposely done. My style is my style and though it is influenced by trends past and present, I still make my very own looks each time. See below.

Saucey, eh?

The sass of it, the edge of, the me I see when I see it. That, my dear, is style.
An identity. A look. That us all your own. If it's at all uncomfortable or forced, it is not YOUR style and thus will not flatter/become you.

I will be creating more looks soon, not to tell you how to dress, but to inspire you to pull from those looks and to add your own personal flare. Until then......be ok with you.

So Clichè: Passion For Fashion

Have you ever just had a passion for something or someone or somewhere?! A true passion that keeps you up at night, a "I must do this until I can't anymore", passion!! I didn't think I did. Then, I got dressed! Indeed.....my something is Fashion!!

It all started when I was a 19 year old airmen living in the depths of Mississippi. I had always been shy, quiet and to myself. Reserved, if you will. I didn't say much and had trouble expressing who I was. Until I met my dear friend, we'll just call her Mia for privacy's sake. For me, she embodied dressing one's self as a wordless introduction. I could control the way I looked and that made me feel enpowered in ways. Uniforms by day, whatever we wanted by night.

I was hooked....I've been hooked ever since.
